Skills seen in the playtest: the names, and how sure we are
The store gives three skill examples. The playtest gives more. This is a name index with a confidence column, because a skill name in a video title is not the same thing as a documented gem.
The names
| Name | Reported class | What it is reported to do | Confidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cyclone | Warrior or Samurai (reported) | A channelled spin; the store uses “a Cyclone that fires Ember Bolts while you channel” as its support-gem example | Official name + creator-reported class |
| Ember Bolts | Not stated | A fire projectile; the store uses it as the support example | Official name |
| Leap Slam | Warrior | A leap attack; a creator says he swapped his Warrior to it | Creator-reported |
| Earthshatter | Warrior | A slam skill named alongside Leap Slam and Cyclone | Creator-reported |
| Shield Charge | Warrior | A shield movement/attack skill | Creator-reported |
| Storm Whirl | Mage | A channelled storm skill that can trigger Storm Sparks | Creator-reported |
| Storm Sparks | Mage | Lightning/cold/fire sparks triggered by Storm Whirl; may be a support or a secondary skill | Creator-reported |
| Zap | Mage | A trigger target in a cast-on-crit sequence | Creator-reported |
| Flame Dash | Mage | A movement skill used alongside Storm Whirl | Creator-reported |
| Winter Orb | Mage | A persistent orb skill; reported to drive the same spark chains | Creator-reported |
| Righteous Fire | Unknown | A damage-over-time aura-style skill; one creator says a RF-style skill exists | Creator-reported, single source |
| Deathcoil | Necromancer | A spell; the developer commented on a video asking to fix its graphics | Dev-corroborated |
| Reap | Necromancer | A physical attack named in a community post | Rumour |
| Poison Golem | Necromancer | A poison minion named in a creator video title | Creator-reported |
Class assignments are the reporter’s, not the developer’s. The gem pool may be wider or narrower at launch.
The interactions that matter
The most useful report is not a name; it is a link. Redkatt’s Storm Whirl description claims a chain: Storm Whirl → Storm Sparks → Zap via cast-on-crit, with Flame Dash for movement and a claimed limit of five skills in a trigger sequence. If that is accurate, it is exactly the kind of support-driven engine the store promises.
AlextheMan’s Warrior report is the other side of the coin: Earthshatter, Cyclone, Shield Charge and Leap Slam on one character, with a 45% crit stat on the character screen and uncertainty about whether support gems are included. That uncertainty is a warning: a stat screenshot is not a build.
What is missing
- Official skill lists per class.
- Support gem names, tags and costs.
- Damage types and conversion rules.
- Cooldowns, mana costs and cast times.
- Which skills are class-locked.
- Whether trigger limits are real and what the cap is.
Until those exist, treat every name as a lead. The wiki will replace this page with a sourced gem database when the developer publishes one or when verified tooltips can be collected.
